Forensic Artist (n):

An artist who utilized his or her creativity and artistic skills, combined with specialized training in the course of a criminal investigation, to identify, apprehend, and convict the guilty parties. This encompasses composite sketches of subjects, image enhancement or modification, such as aging of suspects and enhancement of poor surveillance photos, and demonstrative evidence presented at court proceeding. The forensic artist also aids in identifying the physical remains of unknown victims by facial reconstruction of skulls, whether drawn or sculpted.
